Abbey Clancy made the decision to delete a number of her holiday snaps after negative comments from fans.

Some of her followers kicked up a fuss as she jetted off to Dubai for Christmas with her family.

The model, her husband Peter Crouch and their four kids were enjoying their luxury getaway – and she posted a few photos to show what a great time they were having in the Middle East.

Abbey uploaded a picture with Sophia, nine, Liberty, five, Johnny, two, and Jack, 18 months at their hotel with their dad. Abbey expressed gratitude for their blessings in the caption.

Dubai is one of a small number of holiday destinations that can be visited without Covid quarantine.

But that didn't stop some rounding on the family for leaving as the UK faced up to soaring cases in all areas.

As millions across the UK are plunged into Tier 4, some decided to have a dig at the couple for their decision to not call off their sunshine break to the UAE.

This reaction made up Abbey's mind to haul the photo and others from her feed but the pair have yet to speak about their trip.

But other stars who have been visiting Dubai have also been getting a kicking online – including Molly-Mae Hague and boyfriend Tommy Fury.

X Factor stars Jedward took aim last week at those who visited the country despite it still being illegal to be gay there.

“Info for influencers promoting Dubai!” John and Edward wrote on Twitter.
