AJ Odudu, 33, has taken to Instagram to share information about her new injury. The star is being careful not to overshare, however, as she fears that talking about it makes her feel emotional.

AJ shared a story to her followers showing her movement as she walked on crutches as she eases into recovery.

The post was shared with the star’s 226,000 followers.

She started off her story by saying how grateful she was for her followers’ positive comments.

The star said: “I’ve been getting so many lovely messages to see how I am.

“Thank you! You’re all so blummin’ kind.”

She added that she’s still on “mission happy feet.”

The Strictly 2021 dancer explained that she has been making excellent progress towards recovery.

She said that she has been doing certain mobility exercises to strengthen her lower body.

In full, AJ said: “I’ve sped these vids up because I’m moving at snails pace. (sic)

“But regardless, I’m actually making really good progress and have been working on mobility and strengthening exercises for my toes and ankle.

“I don’t wanna share much about this tbh because it makes me all emosh and besides… we can’t just be looking at my feet. They’re shy.” (sic)

The dancer then said that she is “aok”, reassuring fans. (sic)

She then added that she has good news to tell fans tomorrow.

AJ also shared other photos with her fans on her story.

One included a photo of herself relaxing on her sofa.

Her caption read: “Poppin me feet up.” (sic)

She then showed off her new SkyGlass, penning: “Hello. Let me introduce you to my new bff.”  (sic)

Earlier today, AJ shared her reaction as former dance partner Kai Widdrington posted a snap of himself with new dance partner Maisie Smith.

Alongside a picture of the two together on Instagram, Kai wrote: “Rehearsals for the @strictlycomedancinglive tour are well under way @maisiesmithofficial.” (sic)

AJ reacted to the picture on the post.

She wrote: “Go team” alongside a fist bump and explosion emoji.
