Alex Jones finally opens up on when she’s returning to The One Show: ‘Wasn’t quite ready’

Alex Jones, 42, gave birth to her second child, Kit, with husband Charlie Thomson, back in May, and the couple are also parents to Teddy, who turns three in January. And, the presenter appears to be very much enjoying life as a mum-of-two as she admitted she couldn’t bring herself to get back to work on The One Show this autumn.

Alex revealed she will be back on screens in the New Year, after stepping back from the show in April as she headed on maternity leave.

The Welsh beauty said she wasn’t ready to leave her two sons to meet her original date, this autumn, and will be back in January.

She began her posts on Instagram: “Btw… for those who are asking when I’m coming back to work…”

“I know I said Autumn,” she continued with a straight face emoji. “But I’m having a lovely time with the boys and wasn’t quite ready yet so…”
