Amir Khan’s parents today slammed their granddaughter’s ‘ridiculous’ £75,000 rainforest-themed birthday party – and said they weren’t invited.
Reigniting his war of words with the boxer and his wife Faryal Makhdoom, Amir’s father Shah blasted the ‘excessive’ party the couple held for their youngest daughter Alayna’s first birthday.
Shah told MailOnline: ‘We were not invited to the party. Amir’s siblings and his parents were not there, which is very upsetting. But it didn’t bother him or his wife.
‘An awful lot of money was spent on the party and I feel it could have been better used. It seems a bit excessive to me. Every parent wants the best for their kids but what Amir has spent is quite ridiculous.
‘We knew the party was happening and are very disappointed at not being invited. This is just part of the campaign by Amir’s wife to separate him from his family and control his life.
‘But everything will blow up again in their marriage, it’s just a matter of time.’
Amir and his wife threw the birthday party for Alayna at the University Of Bolton Stadium – the same place the couple held their £150,000 engagement party and eldest daughter’s £100,000 second birthday bash – earlier this month.
Ahead of their move from Manchester to London at the end of the year, beauty guru Faryal, 27, and sportsman Amir, 32, pulled out all the stops for Alayna as they transformed the extravagant venue into an Amazonian-inspired rainforest, complete with statues of tropical animals, vibrant bushes and a glossy jungle-print dancefloor by designers Enchanted by Syma.
At the party, planned by Opulence Events London, guests were greeted to jungle-themed banners on arrival, which read: ‘Alayna’s Jungle’, ‘Do not feed the lions’,’Beware of the alligators’ and ‘Watch out!’.

Party-goers were treated to an impressive dance performance by women dressed in animal-style catsuits.
In addition to sparkling lights and fresh greenery, the venue was also decorated with cute monkey toys, which clung onto a mini rope.
The guests experienced luxury when they tucked into their meals as the dining tables were decorated with branched ornamental light fixtures, dainty candles and floral centrepieces.
The famous family ensured they stood out from their fellow attendees for the party as they coordinated in glamorous black ensembles.
New Yorker Faryal highlighted her incredibly slender post-baby figure in a black crop top and an embroidered maxi skirt.
The brunette beauty turned heads with her curly half up half down ‘do, which she teamed with full-on glamorous make-up.
Looking every inch the doting father, former unified light-welterweight champion Amir gazed adoringly at his baby girl as they enjoyed a boogie on the dancefloor – but the party hasn’t gone down well with Amirs family who weren’t invited

Ensuring he didn’t let his partner down in the style stakes, former unified light-welterweight champion Amir looked typically dapper as he sported a dark velvet suit with a sleek bow tie, while adorable Alayna donned a black ruffled dress with bedazzled shoes.

The couple, who have been married for six years, looked like giddy newlyweds as they held hands while enjoying a romantic dance in front of their guests.
Faryal explained to MailOnline that they wanted to celebrate in Bolton before their big move to London later this year.
‘Amir and I are moving to London in six to ten months, we’re just finalising on our new home,’ she explained of the big life change. ‘We are moving to London as the education is better for kids, it’s a bigger city and it’ll be similar to New York. Amir’s boxing related stuff is mostly based there and the commute right now is a killer so it’ll be nice’.
But Amir’s parents said they felt left out of the party having been omitted from the guest list.
Stylish: The famous family ensured they stood out from their fellow attendees for the special occasion as they coordinated in glamorous black ensembles
It comes a few weeks after they told MailOnline that they have not spoken to the boxer for six months as the bitter feud that once tore the family apart resurfaces.
Shah blames his son’s wife and her mother for the latest fall out, accusing them of trying to control his life and drive a wedge between him and his family.
Shah revealed that the current spat stemmed from last November when Amir went to Saudi Arabia with his wife to perform Umrah, the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca when Amir exchanged some social media messages with his youngest sister Mariyah which, Shah claims, ‘were not nice.’
The Khan family publicly fell out in 2016 and 2017 amid a scathing war of words between Faryal and her in laws which was widely played out in the media. She accused them of bullying and violence while they branded her ‘evil’ and labelled her a bad mother.
Feud: The Khans’ most recent grand party comes after reports emerged about Amir’s estranged relationship with his parents
The dispute prompted Amir to announce that he was divorcing his wife but they reunited after she revealed that she was pregnant with their second child. The couple have two children Lamisah, aged five and one-year old Alayna.
Amir, aged 32 and New York born beautician and model Faryal, aged 27, married six years ago in a ceremony that cost more than £1 million.
Shah revealed that he was forced to speak out this time following recent media reports suggesting that Amir was selling his £1.2million Bolton home and was house hunting in Berkshire with Faryal and their two children to get away from his family and ‘save his marriage.’
