She said: "I've tried juicing at home before because I've like heard about how amazing it makes you feel. But I have no willpower whatsoever. I'd do morning juicing and then I'd be in the biscuit cupboard. So the thought of going away and not having the opportunity to eat anything and just to juicing was quite… I liked the idea.
"For me it wasn't about the weight loss in the end. I went on holiday on my own, I made loads of amazing friends, I learned how to do spinning, which I love now. I tried to get really good at yoga, evidently yoga is not for me. We went on a 10km hike everyday.

The reality star, who recently flaunted her incredible physique in revealing pink gym gear, went on to explain that the trip helped her learn more about herself.
She said: "I hate to be one of those people, but it was quite a spiritual journey. I learned that I literally cannot switch my brain off, I have too many thoughts going on.
"When I got to the end I was like, 'I did it!' and I could do another week if I wanted to. My skin was amazing, I had so much more energy. It was really fun."

Amy went on to confess that although she's lost some weight over her trip, she's gained a total of six kilograms [13lbs] since going on ITV's hit dating show.
"When I went into Love Island I was 54kg [8st 7lbs] and when I came home from the juice retreat I was 60kg [9st 6lbs]," she said. "I was saying to my friend, 'I can't believe it, how am I still only 60kg!' and she was like, 'Well maybe, just maybe, 60kg is your natural weight.' And I was like 'No, it's not! No, it's not!'
"She was like, 'You're almost two years older than what you were when you were preparing for Love Island. To get in shape for Love Island I went vegan for eight weeks and was in the gym everyday."

Later she confessed that perhaps 60 kilograms is her natural weight as it depends on weight and height as well as diet.
"I like to go out with my friends, I like to have fun. My idea of a night out is having dinner, nice wine, having a good time with my friends. So actually I don't want to give that up. I love a McDonald's, I love KFC."
She added: "My nutritionist taught me to have everything in moderation."
