Andrea McLean pens tribute to husband after he leaves her in tears with sweet gesture
Andrea McLean revealed she was feeling emotional as she penned a heartfelt tribute to her loving husband after he left her in tears with his sweet gesture.
Her hubby Nick Feeney dedicated an adorable reel to Andrea with a selection of pictures and videos from their relationship.
The former Loose Women host, 54, admitted that the video brought her to tears as she shared a candid selfie of the couple cuddled up in bed after celebrating 10 years together and six years married on Thursday.
She opened up about the 'normal stuff' they do that she loves and how happy she is with that as she gushed about her indescribable love for her husband.
Sharing a natural selfie of the loved-up couple, Andrea penned: "Sooo…I have just seen that Mr F put out a beautiful reel, with lovely photos and a tune that has made me cry, to celebrate the fact that 10 years ago tonight we met on a blind date that would change our lives forever. 6 years ago tonight we got married.
"And tonight we celebrated by making fajitas with the kids and watching I’m A Celebrity. This is us now, 11pm, glasses on, reading in bed, me with my retainer in.
"I’m putting this picture out because for all lovely photos and dressing up, this is where our marriage and our relationship happens- at home, doing normal stuff, and dealing with all the ups, downs, ins and outs that come with being a blended family. And I am so happy with that."
Andrea, who loves going on romantic date nights with her handsome hubby, finished her post by adding: "I love, and am loved in return. That’s the greatest gift I could ask for. Happy anniversary Mr F. I love you. "
Andrea and her businessman husband Nick even got matching feather tattoos on their wrists earlier this year and the presenter revealed her husband is her "wingman" in a sweet post.
She shared a video of the fun date day and explained the reasoning behind their tattoos, which were made up of heartbeats and a feather.
Andrea said: "Why the heartbeat? To remind us that life is meant to have ups and downs. If there are no highs and lows then you are flatlining, which means you aren’t living life to the full. It’s about enjoying the journey, the experience, the climb."
"Why three heartbeats?" she went on. "To remind us to Live, to Learn and to Thrive – the cornerstones of This Girl Is On Fire, how we live our life."
She continued: "Why the feather? Because he is my wingman and I am his. To remind us that life is finite and to love every moment.
"To be comforted in the fact that while one day our hearts will stop beating, love lasts forever – not just for the two of us but everyone we love and who loves us."
The husband and wife duo married back in 2017 and Andrea stepped back from Loose Women in 2020 to focus on the business, This Girl Is On Fire, that she runs with Nick.
