The former star of ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ offers her two cents after news broke that the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ alums are each being sued for $20 million for promoting a fake lottery scam.
AceShowbiz –Bethenny Frankel continued to show her disdain for the Kardashian family. After news broke that Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick are being sued for $40 million over an alleged scam lottery, “The Real Housewives of New York City” alum couldn’t help but mock the two stars.
The 51-year-old offered her two cents under Page Six’s Instagram post announcing the “prettyyyy big lawsuit.” She said, “It was also a crime to post about a luxury giveaway on the day war broke out in Ukraine,” referring to when Russia invaded Ukraine in February.
Bethenny went on to add Kim’s signature quotes. “I gotta be honest with you. You look like f**king clowns,” she noted.
In the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Kim and Scott “created a lottery where the winner would get $100,000 and 2, first class tickets to L.A.” It was also stated that the winner would also “get a 3-night stay” in Beverly Hills and they could “shop like Kim Kardashian.”
However, plaintiffs alleged that the 2020 lottery that was created by Scott and Curated Businesses was a scam. They claimed it was used to sell their personal information to advertisers.
In the filing, it was noted that those who participated in the lottery have been “invaded by hundreds of advertisers, some of which are soliciting the Plaintiffs with potentially offensive and unwanted content.”
Kim promoted the lottery on Instagram along with Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Sofia Richie, Gretchen Rossi as well as Christine Quinn. While Kim and Scott have reacted to the lawsuit, sources connected to Curated Businesses told TMZ that they have “legitimate” winners and “appropriate” paperwork to show it.
