Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce has died at the age 20.
The American actor, who landed his first Hollywood role at nine, tragically passed away in his sleep, his family confirmed last night.
Just hours before his death, the star took to social media with what would be his last ever Instagram post.
He shared the poignant black and white picture, which was from a photoshoot with ID Magazine, with his 8.7 million followers.
The stylish image showed the profile of the actor wearing a bandana on his head.
Cameron was best-known for playing Luke Ross in popular Disney show Jessie and also starred in the 2010 movie Grown Ups alongside Adam Sandler.
Following news of his death, fans flooded the comments section of the picture with messages of condolence.
One user wrote: “This is unbelievable. Rest In Peace”, while another added: “I cannot believe this.”
A third user reflected: “I grew up watching Jessie it’s going to be hard to be able to face the fact that he is gone. He has gone way too soon. Rest easy Cameron.”
The young actor also starred in Disney original movie Descendants playing Cruella De Vil’s son Carlos in the first and second instalment.
He recently reprised the role for Descendants 3, which is due to be released on August 2, 2019.
