Coronation Streets Daisy Midgeley star Charlotte Jordan wows as she has Shakira transformation

Manchester actress Charlotte Jordan has left her Coronation Street co-stars picking their jaws up off the floor after revealing a dramatic hair transformation that looks world's away from her on-screen character.
The soap star, 27 – known for playing Wetherfield favourite Daisy Midgeley – took to Instagram this morning to show off a new hair look, having ditched her dark brunette for lighter, golden tresses.
Charlotte – who is known as @charliejordanxo on Instagram – also gave widely-adored Colombian hitmaker Shakira, recognisable for her signature golden crimped hairstyle, a mention as she paid tribute to her look.
"Shakira Shakiraaaa," she captioned the beachside snap from a recent holiday to Greece. "(hair and obviously absolutely nothing else)".
The actress paired a flowing cropped black blouse – tied in the middle with string – with a set of matching black linen trousers, drawing attention to her glowing her hairstyle.
Another snap in the online photo dump also showed the Cobbles' star receiving a sweet kiss on the cheek from her boyfriend Paul as she smiled at the camera, showing off an equally stunning black and white embroidered handbag which she held on her right shoulder.
Charlotte – who's character Daisy is currently embroiled in one of the ITV show's major storylines after she was targeted by stalker Justin Rutherford – received high praise from some of her fellow co-stars for her sun-soaked hair reveal snaps.
Georgia Taylor, who plays long-time Corrie star Toyah Habeeb, commented: "I mean seriously!"
Julia Goulding, who plays Shona Platt, added, "Oh my days!!! So beautiful!", whilst Paddy Bever, who plays Max Turner, commented: "Unreal."
Coronation Street villain Justin (played by actor Andrew Still) attacked Charlotte's character Daisy with acid on her wedding day last month, however, Ryan Connor (played by Ryan Prescott) jumped in the way to save Daisy and has been left permanently disfigured.
But though Charlotte's character Daisy and fiancé Daniel Osbourne’s (played by Rob Mallard) special day may have been ruined following the attack last month, the actress later assured fans that their relationship is still going strong, for now.
"They’re still very much in love," she told fans. "There’s just this horrible trauma that happened to them. I am fully team Daniel and Daisy, and I would be devastated if they split.
"I think they just work in the long run. Rob is ace, and we have put a lot of groundwork into making them a long-term couple."
