Curb Your Enthusiasm officially ending with season 12: Larry David’s beloved comedy will conclude with 10-episode FINAL series next year
Curb Your Enthusiasm will officially end with season 12 of the beloved show, it has been confirmed.
Seinfeld co-creator Larry David, 77, can be seen standing on a sinking glacier for the poster of the show, with the tagline: ‘The last of his kind.’
The final season will premiere Feb 4 at 10pm on HBO and Max.
The 10-episode run will conclude with a series finale on April 7.
‘As Curb comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be – the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character,’ David said in a statement via Variety.

‘And so ‘Larry David,’ I bid you farewell. Your misanthropy will not be missed. And for those of you who would like to get in touch with me, you can reach me at Doctors Without Borders.”’
Curb fans pretty much assumed there’d be another season considering how disappointing the conclusion was for the thinly-veiled Larry in the 11th season finale, titled ‘The Mormon Advantage.’
Everything ended so badly that David included a fantasy sequence where everything ended perfectly including replacing bad actress Maria Sofia (Keyla Monterroso Mejia) with Lily Collins in his show-within-a-show, Young Larry.

‘We’re going to throw out a lot of information at you at the beginning, and this season comes full circle in one of the most satisfying ways we’ve had,’ showrunner Jeff Schaffer had (falsely) claimed to EW of season 11 back in October.
‘Everything culminates in a really, really interesting way.’
Guest stars last season included the scene-stealing Tracey Ullman as well as Woody Harrelson, Kaley Cuoco, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, Bill Hader, Jon Hamm, Vince Vaughn, and Ted Danson.
Curb Your Enthusiasm premiered with an hour-long special on HBO television in 1999.
It was then followed by a ten-episode first season that began airing on October 15, 2000.
The series was created by Larry David, who stars as a fictionalized version of himself.
