Danniella Westbrook heartbroken as beloved dog Bruno dies: Feel so empty and sad

Danniella Westbrook has been left heartbroken after her dog Bruno died just four weeks after being rescued.
The 48 year old shared her devastation at the loss with followers as she broke the sad news on social media on Thursday morning.
Posting a photo of her sweet pooch indoors staring at the camera, Danniella captioned it: "Devastated at losing my Bruno last night…feel so empty and sad he was such a lovely old boy."
The former Eastenders actress added more words of mourning on the photo itself as she wrote: "Rest in peace my Bruno Bear, you was such a good boy, full love right till the end, will miss you so much."
Sharing the same touching photo on her Instagram page, Danniella added: “I'm truly devastated that you're gone. Sleep well my Bruno Bear."
Only a month ago, the TV star had revealed that she had rescued Bruno and appeared excited to welcome him home as she posted a cute snap of the pooch with his tongue wagging shortly after taking him in.
“My new baby…meet 12 year old Bruno his the latest edition to my family,” Danniella had captioned the snap back in March as she spoke of finding Bruno at the Bulldog Rescue and Rehoming centre in Midhurst, West Sussex.
“I rescued him from the amazing charity @bulldog_rescue_and_rehoming_uk his 12 years old and I adore him. If your thinking of getting a dog please rescue #bruno #bobby #bulldogsofinstagram”.
Followers sent their condolences to the actress after she posted the news of Bruno’s passing as one person wrote: “So sorry to hear about Bruno, always here if you need a chat, you gave him a beautiful home and love. Xxx”.
“Oh no how devastating for you I’m so sorry,” a second fan added, to which Danniella replied: "Thanks Nigel I'm so devastated he was my little mate such good company x miss him so much x."
The sad news comes two days after the ex soap star uploaded a video of herself make-up free as she went on walk with Bruno.
"I've got no make-up on today. But does anyone else's dog look at them really oddly when they hug a tree? Because mine does,” Danniella said in the short clip.
Her natural appearance comes after recently recovering from the latest operation to correct her nose as she proclaimed this year to be one of “full transformation physically".
