Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher enjoys cute Halloween family day out at Alton Towers

Former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher was seen having a sweet family day out and getting into the Halloween spirit at Scarefest at Alton Towers.

Winner of Strictly Come Dancing in 2019, Kelvin, 37, visited the top attraction in Staffordshire this weekend with his wife Elizabeth Marsland and their two children Marnie, five, and two year old Milo.

The gorgeous family were all smiles as they were snapped at the opening on Scarefest. They even had fun showing off their scariest faces as they posed for the camera at the Halloween-themed event.

Kelvin was casually dressed in dark trousers and a dark jumper while Elizabeth, known as Eliza, wore light blue leggings and a light blue sweatshirt with light trainers for the spooky day out.

Marnie looked cute in grey leggings and a striped skirt with a pink and grey basketball style jacket while her little brother Milo looked unsure of what was going on as he stayed close to mum and dad.

Other celebrity families attending the event included Dani Dyer, as well as Coronation Street stars Ryan Thomas and Tina O’Brien and Kelvin’s former Emmerdale co-star Hayley Tamaddon.

The loved-up pair met when they were children. In fact the couple shared their first kiss when Eliza was only eight years old.

They grew up just streets apart in Royton, Lancashire, but they only got together two years after she has finished university.

They wed in a lavish ceremony, reportedly costing £55,000, at London’s One Mayfair, a year to the day he had proposed.

Speaking exclusively to OK! , Kelvin said: “We’re pretty sure Liz fell pregnant on our wedding night. We then flew to Rome for three nights. Little did we know, there were three of us on our honeymoon!

“The day I found out Liz was pregnant and our wedding day were the most amazing days of my life. I’ve always wanted to have children and become a father, without question. I’ve been more certain of that than anything, even more certain than wanting to become an actor.”

On the 25 August 2016 their first child Marnie was born and speaking to OK! after the birth, Kelvin said: "I never imagined I could be so obsessed with a little person. I knew I'd be hands-on, but fatherhood is incredible."

In December 2018 Eliza then gave birth to their son, Milo, announcing the news to her Instagram with a picture of her cradling the newborn.
