Homes Under The Hammer presenter Martin Roberts in ‘freaky’ Coronavirus video ‘Really?’

Martin Roberts has fronted Homes Under The Hammer since 2003 and regularly travels into London for work commitments. However, the presenter was seemingly left gobsmacked today as Coronavirus fears take over the country.

I mean, really? You’ve got to say that’s a bit freaky, right?

The 56-year-old took to his Instagram and Twitter pages to discuss what he had discovered on his way into the capital.

The property expert spoke out in a video in view of his 24,000 followers as he stood at empty Bath Spa Station.

He admitted that it felt like the “end of the world” as many work from home as the number of confirmed Coronavirus cases increases day by day.

“I’m at Bath Station,” Martin started. “It’s half past six in the morning, and it’s commuter peak time for trains up to London.”

“No, I mean, really?! You’ve got to say that’s a bit freaky, right?”

He panned the camera around to show the desolate platforms with an open-mouthed expression in disbelief.

Martin echoed his thoughts in the caption, adding: “It’s all getting a bit too much like an ‘End of the World’ movie for my liking… #coronavirus #Covid_19 #CoronaOutbreak #CoronavirusPandemic.”

He was soon inundated with replies, with many agreeing with him. One user wrote back: “The start of Apocalypse.”

Two others stated: “This is just tooo funny,” and: “Ooooooo. That’s a bit unusual, but I do like it.”(sic)

A fourth told him: “Martin, it’s beyond ridiculous and I’m getting bored with it all.”

However, one seemed concerned about his own health, saying: “Get that finger out of your mouth.”
