‘I’m single and looking for a beautiful relationship’ – Bobby Brazier opens up amid NTA win
Bobby Brazier, who plays Freddie Slater in EastEnders, has revealed he is “single” and on the lookout for a “beautiful relationship” following his huge win at the NTAs.
Following taking home the award for Rising Star, the actor has opened up about his upcoming stint on Strictly Come Dancing and revealed he is looking for a “beautiful relationship” with his pro dance partner.
The 20 year old model and actor was announced as the latest addition to the star-studded lineup on BBC Breakfast on 9 August.
While Bobby revealed that he doesn’t think a romantic connection is on the cards with his dance partner, he said has already formed a good connection and is keen to have a “sisterly” relationship.
The young actor told The Sun: “I'm over the moon with my partner.”
He continued: "You go through so many emotions and to go through those emotions with someone, is a really sweet beautiful thing.
“I'm single, I'm looking for a beautiful relationship, like a big sister. I'm looking for a really sweet lovely endearing experience."
Those taking to the dancefloor also include Luba Mushtuk,Giovanni Pernice , Johannes Radebe,Kai Widdrington,Nancy Xu, Lauren Oakley,Faye Windassand Michelle Tsiakkas.
Bobby, who is set to appear in the dance competition later this month, left his dad in an emotional state on Tuesday 5 September during his acceptance speech for his NTA award.
Bobby had been sat in the celebrity audience with his dad, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, 44, and his EastEnders co-star Molly Rainford, prior to collecting the prized trophy at the awards show hosted by comedianJoel Dommett.
Speaking from the stage, he said: "I've been thinking about what I might say over the last couple of days and it's become very, very obvious.
"This actually has very, very, very little to do with me and everything to do with my dad… over the course of the last 20 years I've consistently heard him say, 'Because I can', it was a mantra or a motto of his, and him just saying that, 'Because I can!' you know, why not?"
Jeff smiled and wiped his eyes as Bobby spoke, while he was hugged by Anna Knight actress, Molly.
He went on to thank EastEnders bosses for believing in him when he had "no experience", quipping: "I still don't have a clue what I'm doing, to be honest."
And he added: "But they've all been so supportive, and just lovely and merciful and everything that I needed throughout the whole time and even still."
Bobby is now taking a short break from the soap while he competes in Strictly.
