Jacqueline Jossa has slammed Channel 5 for "shaming, slamming and mocking" the changing appearance of reality star Charlotte Crosby.

The episode of Celebrities: What's Happened to Your Face? aired on Thursday 22 April and featured doctors branding the former Geordie Shore star "rubber lips".

Charlotte, 31, spoke out against the programme with a lengthy statement on her Instagram feed, explaining that it was "immoral and insensitive" and caused her to have a dip in her mental health while her self esteem plummeted.

After seeing the star's message, 28 year old Jacqueline took to her own Instagram stories to re-post it and share her own disgust over it.

The former EastEnders star, who recently said she's not planning to have anymore children with husband Dan Osborne, wrote: "There are no words.

"Do people in the public eye not get enough stick as it is, just for breathing at the moment..

"for a channel, a program to do this to another human being, someone who has entertained us for years. I am just disgusted." [sic]

Brunette beauty Jacqueline went on: "Can you imagine if this show came out at a time that Charlotte was in a really bad place mentally, already feeling awful about herself and struggling to get up in the morning (a place that a lot of people have been in and it's not easy to spot someone struggling) imagine if that's how someone felt and then there was an hour show shaming, slamming and mocking the way they looked.

"Yes we all put ourselves out there, but NO ONE DESERVES THIS."

The former I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! winner then explained how fortunate it is that Charlotte is a strong person and is brave enough to stand up for herself in this situation.
