Taking to his Instagram story, James Jordan, 42, kept fans up to date about his whereabouts ahead of going head-to-head with Andrew Castle, 56, for a charity golf match. Introducing the latter to his fans, Andrew couldn’t resist taking a swipe at the dancer’s appearance.
It is so nice to see the yeti here, hasn’t he got a lot of hair
In view of his 231,000 followers, the ex Strictly Come Dancing pro told fans he was ready for a second round of golf, in support of the WellChild charity.
Panning the camera around to Andrew, he added: “My opponent is none other than Andrew Castle.”
The latter joked: “It is so nice to see the yeti here, hasn’t he got a lot of hair,” which prompted James to laugh.
“We’re going to have a lovely day, [hello to] Mark Foster and WellChild, it’s a great charity.
“It’s good to take part, even though of course there is social distancing.”
James and Andrew are amongst a host of celebrities competing against each other to help raise money for seriously ill children in the WellChild Matchplay Challenge.
The Dancing on Ice 2019 winner discussed his unkempt hair during a recent appearance on Loose Women after leaving panellists stunned.
Panellist Janet Street-Porter asked him: “James I can’t let you get away with not explaining that hairstyle!”
He replied: “It’s horrendous, isn’t it? I think I have the worst hair in history.
“No matter how bad it is I don’t want to cut it.”
He went on to say he was purposely growing it out to make a point, following messages he had received on Instagram.
“I think I’m going to do the opposite and let it grow,” he added. “I know I look awful.”
