Jenny Ryan will be performing in the X Factor: Celebrity final this evening, competing against Megan McKenna, duo Max and Harvey, and girl group V5. Ahead of her final performance, The Chase quizzer couldn’t help herself but hit back at negative comments she has recently received.
Responding to one of them about the faces she pulls whilst singing, Jenny said she’s supposed to have “weird” expressions on her face.
The viewer wrote: “Jenny Ryan is good by by George she pulls some weird faces when she sings #CelebrityXFactor.”
Jenny hit back: “The weird faces are me doing EXACTLY what the vocal coaches are telling me to do to create the correct sounds! Also I pull weird faces at the best of times.”
Jenny also responded to a person who appeared to criticise her nickname The Vixen, which is used on The Chase.

“Big Jenny Ryan gave herself the nickname ‘The Vixen’,” a person said alongside a picture of Emilia Clarke’s Game of Thrones character Daenerys Targaryen smirking.
“A) I didn’t,” she said.
“B) I think he’s suggesting that I can’t be ‘foxy’ or attractive because I’m ‘Big’. From the messages I get, he’s incorrect.”
After replying to many trolls, Jenny thanked those who have sent her positive comments ahead of tonight’s final.
She wrote: “Thank you for all the POSITIVE comments about this weekend’s show. You all keep me going!
“That said, let’s have a look at some of the less positive ones and I’ll address them…”
Jenny’s The Chase co-stars have been supporting her during her X Factor journey.
Last week, Mark Labbett, known as The Beast, urged his followers to vote for his pal and work colleague.

It wasn’t looking too good for Jenny this week as she revealed she was told to go on vocal rest.
The quizmaster uploaded a selfie of herself wearing a sign around her neck which read: “Jenny Ryan vocal rest.”
She captioned the shot: “#NowModelling the attractive sign the vocal coaches make you wear when you need to preserve your voice (or possibly when they just want a bit of peace and quiet.) #XFactorCelebrity #xfactor.”
Megan is currently the favourite to win this year’s special series with her odds at 1-3 by bookmaker Coral.

Max and Harvey are the second favourites, back at 9-2, with the other celebrities all 11-1 or bigger.
“Megan has been odds on for weeks now and it is beginning to look like a procession,” said Coral’s Aitkenhead.
“She seems almost certain to win and we’ve cut the odds once again ahead of the weekend.”
