Kerry Katona: DJ has been fainting recently – I have so much anxiety about her health – Kerry Katona

It's been nine years since Kerry Katona welcomed youngest child DJ, and suffered a traumatic labour in the process. Now, the mother-of-five admits that this has had a lasting impact on her anxiety for DJ and explained that she feels extra protective of the little one.

Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry, 43, took to her column this week to share that DJ has been suffering fainting episodes over recent weeks – but assures that doctors appear content that nothing serious is wrong.

Known for putting family first, the star also details her family trip to a Christmas Fair as she gets into the festive spirit, and gives her take on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

Health Woes

Annabel Giles sadly passed away at 64 last week, which was awful. It really scares me to read things like that. It’s such a shame and I’m thinking of her family. I have health anxiety when it comes to DJ. I worry about her, especially recently as she’s had a few fainting spells. We took her for an MRI and the doctor found something. We’re waiting as her results have been sent to a neurosurgeon, but the doctor seems to think she’s alright. He said that lots of us could have what she has but we’ve just not had MRIs.

Hooked on the jungle

I’m absolutely loving watching I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. I feel for Jamie Lynn Spears at the moment because she’s so far from home and missing her kids, so she’s exactly how I was during my first week in there. I hope she sticks it out because I was the bookies’ favourite to quit when I first went in, and I ended up winning it. I still have no idea how I won! I also have sympathy for Fred Sirieix. I don’t think he has a bad bone in his body, but Nella Rose took him saying he was old enough to be her dad as a bad thing. It’s horrible that she has lost her parents and I don’t think she’s healed from it.

Festive season

I went to a Christmas fair in Liverpool last week with two of my best friends, the kids and Lilly’s boyfriend. It was such a nice day out and I’m so glad I got to do something like that before working during December.

I’m feeling really festive now. My Christmas shopping is almost done. Ryan and I aren’t getting each other anything – we’ve got enough, so it’s all about the kids.

I had some trolls commenting on the post of my house decorations, and, to be honest, I feel sorry for people who comment things like that on social media. I’ve worked for what I have and I want to treat my children – why wouldn’t I?

Go, Helen!

Helen Flanagan is reportedly dating again and good on her, I think it’s great. It’s been a while since she split from her ex Scott Sinclair and I don’t understand why she gets any stick for putting herself out there. People love to bring others down, when realistically, they should be happy for other people’s success and happiness. I get the same thing, I’ve been through plenty of failed relationships and people think it’s OK to be nasty about it because I’m in the public eye.

Adele's tied the knot

Adele has reportedly confirmed that she is married to her partner Rich Paul. I think it’s fair enough that they had a secret wedding, she’s always been more private when it comes to that.

Getting married is about you and how you want to do it. I’ve never had a low-key wedding like that and don’t think I ever would – I like to go big!
