Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott File to Officially Change Sons Name to Aire
In court documents, the former couple filed to make the change official, with both parties signing off the change to their son’s name from Wolfe Jacques Webster to Aire Webster.
AceShowbiz –Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott (II) are reportedly ready to officially change their son’s name to Aire. In court documents, the former couple filed to make the change official, with both parties signing off the change from Wolfe Jacques Webster to Aire Webster.
Obtained by TMZ, the documents saw the on-and-off couple saying that they “regret the initial name choice” now. It’s also said that they “have had the chance to spend time with their baby, they believe the name Aire Webster is a better fit.”
Now that the “The Kardashians” star and the “SICKO MODE” rapper have signed off on the petition, they are currently waiting for the courts to finalize the name change.
Kylie previously announced that her and Travis’ son is named Wolfe Jacques Webster, prompting fans to troll her for the name. A month following their son’s arrival, the Kylie Cosmetics star decided to change his moniker.
“FYI OUR SONS NAME ISN’T WOLF ANYMORE,” the cosmetics mogul wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. “WE JUST REALLY DIDN’T FEEL LIKE IT WAS HIM.”
The reality TV star didn’t disclose her little boy’s new name until this January. Alongside the first photos of the little one’s face, Kylie shared that his name is Aire Webster. Some fans, however, expressed confusion as to how to pronounce the name. The daughter of Kris Jenner clarified that it was pronounced the same way as “air.”
Aire means “Lion of God” in Hebrew, but some fans pointed out that it’s a slang for penis in Arabic. “God help her if she comes to the Middle East,” one user trolled on Twitter. Someone else added, “all my Lebanese people [are] wheezing right now.”
Another person joked, “Let her be. I’m waiting for the episode where one of her sisters says ‘little Aire is getting so big.’ ” One other commented, “She should’ve just stuck with Wolf. Wasn’t that the original name? I’d also like to inform everyone who clinks glasses and says ‘chin chin’ that it means penis in Japanese.”
