Love Island 2023: ‘She’s not interested whatsoever’: Viewers unimpressed with bombshell David’s VERY forward manner as he asks Tanyel whether she wants to get to know him

Love Island viewers were left unimpressed with David Salako’s very forward approach to flirting on Thursday’s episode.

The bombshell, 24, entered the villa during Wednesday’s episode alongsid8e fellow newcomer Zara Lackenby-Brown and set his sights on Tanyel Revan when he entered the villa.

Within minutes of entering the house, David grabbed her for a chat and quickly began quizzing her on whether she was willing to get to know him.

However, his forthright manner put off some viewers while Tanyel herself dodged the question and said she was ‘willing to get to know everyone’.

One Twitter user wrote: ‘Tanyel is not interested whatsoever,’ while another added: ‘David is too forward and that would instantly give me the ick’. 

A third viewer said: ‘Already hate Dsvid and he’s only had 30 seconds of screen time,’ while a fourth wrote: ‘Tanyel is not interested in David at all’. 

Another added: ‘She’s not feeling him, avoiding questions like crazy,’ while another wrote: ‘Tanyel lowkey wants David to go away’.

Ahead of his entrance to the villa, the hopeful was confident about his abilities to find a girl in the villa, saying: ‘Listen, there’s only one David Salako. There we go. 

‘If you’re in a relationship with me it’ll be nothing but good fun, vibes. I think I’m alright looking as well.’

Asked why he is single, David replied: ‘I’m very picky – I haven’t met the right one yet. The person you’re going to meet is never going to be perfect, but I’ve got my standards, yeah.’

Recalling his worst dating experience, David said he once went out with a girl who took issue with the amount of women he followed on social media.

He recalled: ‘I met someone through an app, she was messaging me all the time. When I met her, she said, “I’ve been down your social media followers, you follow a lot of girls.”

‘If I was in a relationship with someone I wouldn’t want them following that many girls.’ I said to her, “This is a bit too much for me.”

Aske if he falls in love quickly, David said: ‘I’m in between. If I like you I’ll put my whole 100% into you and that could lead me into liking you quickly.’
