Love Island star reveals new job out of spotlight just weeks after shock split
Former Love Island stars Callum Jones and Molly Smith recently announced their break-up after three years together, but now 28-year-old Callum revealed how he's set to move on.
In an Instagram post, the Manchester-born star showed that he'd jetted off to Bali for a new career venture and shared a series of images.
In the caption, the former scaffolder revealed that he had been working with White Box Property, an award-winning property development, investment & education Company.
He wrote: "BALI RETREAT, what an absolute pleasure it's been over this past week with the @whiteboxproperty crew, a lot of growth and a plan for the future for all of us. See you at the next one."
This career move follows the shock split between him and Molly, 26, who are no longer an item after first striking up a romance in front of millions on the ITV2 dating show.
Callum is said to have moved out of their shared home after gaining custody of pet pug Winnie, while Molly, a personal trainer, kept their second pooch, a Pomeranian named Nelly.
A source told The Sun: "It’s really sad as they were a sweet couple together but it’s over – and has been for a few weeks.
"They’re trying to stay friends – they were together for over three years – but it’s difficult. I think in the end, Molly wanted to get engaged and that didn’t happen.
"Everyone was really surprised when they split as they were perfectly matched. He’s now moved out of the home they shared and they’ve split custody of their two dogs."
Back in July 2022, Callum caught up with OK! for an exclusive chat about their relationship, admitting that he could "relate to a bit of the emotions" Islanders were going through during the infamous Casa Amor twist that was airing at the time.
Despite being "no relationship guru", he did also explain: "I feel like when you’re in there you know if it's going to work on the outside. If you’ve got common ground then it will and obviously distance comes in as a factor as well."
Callum credited their lasting bond to sharing an immense four-bedroom Manchester pad together, too.
"I just think we got on so well and we were together through lockdown for a while. It worked in our favour because we were together all the time – I think it was a positive more than a negative.
