Married At First Sight star Lauren Huntriss has revealed she's looking into alternative ways to have children after fearing she'll never find the right man to settle down with.

The reality star was matched with the season's "virgin groom" Matthew Bennet but didn't find love during the experiment, resulting in her leaving the show early.

Now, two years after the programme first aired, Lauren is still single and has just celebrated her 34th birthday, making her reconsider how much time she has left to have children without feeling "tired'.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the beauty asked her 116,000 followers for advice and guidance as she wrote over a grey background: "OK serious question/s about babies.

"Have any of you gone through the process of dinging a donor? Was it successful for you? Do you have any regrets? Would you recommend other women to consider this option?"

Lauren, who previously had a nose job after a pimple turned out to be skin cancer, continued: "I have so many questions and I would love to hear about your experiences and welcome any advice."

The star, whose ex Matthew moved on with new girlfriend Annabelle after admitting he wasn't attracted to Lauren, replied by sharing a screenshot of a Google search about egg count, which highlighted the reduced fertility of women over the age of 35.

She went on to get some valuable advice from another follower, who urged her to save money where she can as the cost of storing and shipping sperm as well as the insemination is quite high.

Lauren wrote over this: "Ok I think I need to start up a Go Fund Me. Legit," followed by a sad face emoji and a laughing emoji.
