The Nolans singer Maureen Nolan has suffered a nasty fall which left her with black eyes and with a cut head, she exclusively told Express.co.uk.
Ahead of performing on stage as part of Calendar Girls: The Musical in London, the singer fell over and hit her head on a pavement.
Despite the pain, however, the 69-year-old said she carried on with the show that night like a trooper and is now feeling fine.
She explained: “I was on the way to work in Windsor and I just fell over and dashed my head on the pavement.
“I’m a twit, I don’t know how I fell. I did the show that night but I did cut my face, my head.”

With a bruised face, Maureen said it was “difficult” to cover up with make-up for the performance, but said: “The show must go on.”
The Nolans sister is currently starring as big-hearted Ruth in the much loved musical, written by Gary Barlow and Tim Firth.
She stars in the show alongside Tanya Franks, Lyn Paul, Amy Robbins, Paula Tappenden, Marti Webb, and Honeysuckle Weeks.
Calendar Girls follows extraordinary women in a small Yorkshire Women’s Institute, who are prompted to create a nude calendar following the death of a much-loved husband, to raise funds for charity.

Maureen admitted stripping off came with some apprehension, but praised the all-female cast for looking out for each other on stage.
She added: “It kind of becomes a second nature really, you don’t really think about it.
“It’s a part of the story isn’t it, it’s what the story is all about.
“The audience have been so brilliant, it’s very moving obviously, it deals with cancer and loss. It’s an emotional rollercoaster really.”
Maureen knows all too well about the pain of cancer after her dad and three sisters’ tragedies.
The disease first struck their father, Tommy Nolan Sr. who died of liver cancer in 1998.
Bernie, Anne and Linda Nolan have also suffered, with the former passing away in 2013.
Maureen is currently a part of Calendar Girls: The Musical, touring nationwide.
The shows will continue across 2024, with further dates and casting to be announced.
