The Weeknd catches one fan dancing along to his song “Blinding Lights” in the first Super Bowl LV commercial from Pepsi.
The beverage company recruited the 30-year-old singer to headline their Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show, and teased the performance with this video clip during the NFL Super Wild Card Games.
The “Get Ready” TV spot spotlights different fans and consumers as they hum, dance or sing along to The Weeknd’s chart-topping song, with it ending outside of a football stadium where a security guard, who is completely lost in the song, comes face-to-face with the singer.
Over the next few weeks, Pepsi will unroll more teasers tied to the halftime show and The Weeknd‘s performance.
This will also include a launch of PepsiHalftime.com, which is a digital fan portal that will populate with exclusive and behind-the-scenes artist and show content, augmented reality (AR) experiences for fans at home, and more.
