Pregnant Amy Hart shares hilarious post-birth rules including cake demands

Amy Hart has shared a hilarious video running through the ‘rules’ she’ll have in place once she has her baby.

The former Love Island star, 30, is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Rason, with the couple recently sharing photos of a romantic getaway to Curaçao together.

As she counts down the days until her new arrival, Amy took to Instagram to share her thoughts on what she wants the first few days and weeks as a mum to look like.

Speaking to her followers, she said: “I keep seeing these videos everywhere so I thought I had to do one. So here are my top non-negotiable very strict rules for when I have my baby…

“So, number one, I’d say like… don’t come round if you’re ill.

“And then number two… if you’re going to come round, bring me a cake. It doesn’t need to be a big cake, could be like a Belgian bun, maybe a pack of two, one for me, one for yourself?

“Maybe a pecan danish, perhaps? Maybe if you’re coming to the sip and see, don’t forget to bring a bottle.”

Thinking for a moment, Amy then added: “I think… that is it for the rules really.

Captioning the video, Amy wrote: “Priorities…. (this is of course tongue in cheek and everyone is entitled to set their own rules and have them respected”.

Amy’s followers loved her honest rules and offered some of their own, with one person commenting: “I made a sign for my front door telling people ‘mother and newborn baby resting…do not disturb’ for when I didn’t want visitors….and I’m not even sorry!”.

Another person suggested: “I had a no visitors rule for 10 days with my second baby – it was bliss !! We had time to enjoy him rather than entertain the masses lol”.

The happy couple announced they were expecting back in August, with Amy appearing on Loose Women to share the exciting news.

Amy told the panel: "It was very unexpected, we weren't going to try until next year.

"I had my 30th completely sober. I had people coming up to my saying, 'You don't seem very drunk'.

"I said to my best friend, 'People are starting to ask' and they said, 'Well, you're going to have to do something'.

"So when the ABBA tribute band performed Lay All Your Love On I started crawling across the dancefloor – and nobody asked again."

Amy had previously been incredibly candid about her fertility struggles before meeting Sam on dating app Bumble and openly discussed her low egg count.

She'd also detailed how she previously spent £15,000 freezing her eggs over three separate rounds to give herself the best chance of becoming a mum one day.

While on Loose Women, she confirmed that she had actually conceived naturally. Asked if she'd used her frozen eggs, she replied: "No, so I might need them [frozen eggs] in the future because it was never about not being able to get pregnant it was more about the longevity of my egg reserve.

"I might need them in the future but if I don't, I'll donate them."
