Princess Eugenie opens up on sweet bond with annoying sister Beatrice in rare interview

Princess Eugenie has shared a rare insight into her close bond with sister Princess Beatrice in a new interview, revealing they are the "best of friends".

Eugenie, 33, appeared as a guest on Kate Thornton's White Wine Question Time podcast, and opened up about her relationship with older sibling Beatrice, 35, and how their similar life experiences have meant they share an exceptionally close bond.

The mum-of-two said: "Beatrice and I, our whole lives, we've always had each other. We're the only ones going through exactly what the other is going through at exactly that time as a girl – in our family, our place of work, whatever it is. I think that's extraordinary to think about."

She went on to sweetly add: "We're not twins, yet you go through life knowing exactly what the other one is going through. She's my big sissy, she's a legend."

Eugenie went on to brand Beatrice a "great mum" and admitted she calls her sister "for everything", and regularly reaches out to her own mum, Sarah, Duchess of York, for advice.

However, Eugenie did admit she and Beatrice can annoy each other, adding: "She's annoying when she wants to be and I'm really annoying to her back, but we love each other, best of friends."

Elsewhere on the podcast, Eugenie spoke about her family life with husband Jack Brooksbank and their two sons, August, two, and five month old Ernest.

The proud mum branded her sons "so wonderful" and said August, who she calls Augie, is a "firecracker" who listens to her, while Ernest, known by the nickname Ernie, "smiles the whole time".

She did share a relatable parenting challenge, admitting that feeding times are difficult with her two sons but at the moment, sleeping isn't causing any issues in her household.

Eugenie's comments come after she celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary with husband Jack on 12 October. The pair got married on 12 October 2018 and tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at St George’s Chapel, Windsor whichwas attended by celebrities including Pixie Geldof and Robbie Williams.

To celebrate the pair’s special anniversary, 33 year old Eugenie shared a montage video on Instagram which was filled with pictures and videos from the big day before giving fans a glimpse of how her and Jack’s life has changed since then.
