A rapper who has had his chains surgically embedded into his head has boasted about being ‘the first rapper to have gold hair implanted in human history’.
Dan Sur, 23, ‘wanted to do something different’, which saw him opt to have hooks embedded into his skull, under his skin (no, we don’t want to think about this too much either) instead of getting his hair dyed.
The reggaeton rapper and producer now shows off his ‘golden hair’ to his almost two million social media followers on TikTok.
It appears he underwent the procedure in April, and since then his profile is littered with clips of him showing off his jaw-dropping headpiece, which has seen his following rocket up.
‘The truth is that I wanted to do something different because I see that everyone dyes their hair. I hope not everyone copies me now,’ Dan said in one of his videos.
Dan, we imagine you’re probably safe on that front.
He continued, shedding light on how his head chain situation worked: ‘I have it as a hook that is implanted in my head and that hook has hooks and they are all hooked in my skull, under my skin.’
Again, let’s breeze past this rather grisly detail.
He added: ‘This is my hair. Golden hair. The first rapper to have gold hair implanted in human history.’
As rappers are wont to do, he also decided to go a step further and get a matching gold grill recently, too.
His latest TikTok shows him brushing his grill with toothpaste after one fan enquired as to how he kept his grill/teeth clean – and that’s the usual way, it would appear.
Another rapper recently made headlines after almost losing a diamond he’d had surgically implanted into his forehead.
Lil Uzi Vert, who claims to have paid $24million (£17.3m) for the pink diamond, allegedly had the jewel ‘ripped out’ of his head by a fans while crowd surfing at Miami’s Rolling Loud festival in July.
The jewellers behind his body modification confirmed to Rolling Stone back in February, when the rapper unveiled his new look, that it was ‘as safe as any other piercing’.
