Sir Rod Stewart, who is now married to Penny Lancaster, was missing from the candid photo with his “extended clan”. The Maggie May hitmaker, who has eight children by five different women, happily co-parents with his former wives.
Taking to Instagram yesterday, the musician’s ex-wives Rachel Hunter, 51, and Alana Stewart, 76, reunited for a sweet snap with their blended family.
Rod, 76, and Penny, 50, were absent from the picture as the couple are currently residing in the UK with their two sons, Alastair, 15 and Aiden, 10.
Rachel and Alana were joined in the family photo by their children and grandchildren, including Kimberley Stewart and her daughter Delilah, 10, who she shares with former beau Benicio del Toro, 54.
Model Alana shares son Sean, 40, and Kimberly, 42, with the rocker, and is also mother to Ashley Hamilton, 46, from her first marriage to George Hamilton, 82.
New Zealander Rachel shares daughter Renee, 29, and son Liam, 26, with Rod.
Rachel posted the shot to the picture-sharing site and wrote: “Connected” while, Alana shared another happy photograph and captioned it: “Mothers and daughters and sons… the extended Stewart clan.”
Kimberly uploaded a version and wrote: “Stewart clan reunited.”
Renee also shared the photo on her social media account: “A much needed sibling reunion. Love you all so much.”
Rod was first married to actress and model Alana from 1979 to 1984.
The rocker wed model Rachel six years later when she was aged 21 and the singer was 45 at the time.
After nearly a decade of marriage, the couple separated in 1999.
He began dating Penny in the same year with the couple tying the knot in 2007, and the pair have been together ever since.

Rod also has children from earlier relationships including his first child Sarah Streeter, 57, from his romance with then-art student Susannah Boffey.
She was given up for adoption after he fathered her at age 18 but the singer and daughter have since reunited.
The rock legend is also father to Ruby Stewart, 34, from a relationship with model Kelly Emberg, 62.
The Forever Young hitmaker previously spoke out about his children’s inheritance as he issued them a cheeky warning.
Speaking candidly to the Daily Mirror, Rod said it’s hard rounding all his kids up: “They always have plans… So I say, ‘If you don’t come, it is coming out of your inheritance’. So they show up.”
The singer revealed he is tougher with his older children and said he instilled in them that they must “earn their living”.
He added: “With the older kids I say, ‘You have got to do it yourself, prove to me you can earn your living’. And that is what they do. But the two youngest keep me young, beyond doubt.”
Rod has since returned to his Essex home following the coronavirus pandemic but splits his time between the UK and the US.
