Ron Perlman, Donald Trump Jr. and more celebrities react to the Supreme Court's decision to strike down New York gun law

On Thursday, June 23, 2022, the United States Supreme Court struck down a century-old New York law that limits those who can carry concealed weapons outside their home. The ruling — which comes as Congress pushes through a bipartisan gun safety bill — is viewed as an expansion of what the Second Amendment protects. While many firearms advocates are cheering the decision, critics claim it will have a negative impact toward curbing gun violence. Following the decision, many in Hollywood and the entertainment world reacted. Ron Perlman was clearly upset with the ruling, tweeting, “The latest Supreme Court decision on firearms neglects to say the one thing that they actually meant to say; for whites only.”
