Scarlett Moffatt’s holiday blunder as she overpacks for baby son – bringing 124 nappies

Scarlett Moffatt has revealed she accidentally packed 124 nappies for her baby son Jude's first ever holiday, having recently jetted off with her partner Scott Dobinson.

The ex-Gogglebox star, 32, took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal she's been holidaying with Scott, 34, and 10-week old Jude, who was born back in June.

Scarlett shared a collection of sun-soaked snaps along with a lengthy caption detailing her decision to take Jude on his first holiday along with the accidents she'd made while packing to jet off.

The mum-of-one admitted she'd packed 100 regular nappies as well as 24 swim nappies, and also took two litres of milk in to the airport by accident.

"So we made the decision to take Jude on holiday at ten weeks old. He had his 8 week vaccinations, got the go ahead from the GP & we thought let’s do it," the I'm A Celebrity winner began by writing.

She continued: "This hands down is the best decision I’ve ever made. This has been the greatest week of my life. Holidays are so different when looking after a baby but they’re so magical."

Scarlett then admitted she and Scott had packed "everything but the kitchen sink", adding: "Yes we took everything but the kitchen sink & I did my maths wrong and took 2 litres of milk to Newcastle airport in my hand luggage & apparently he doesn’t need 100 nappies on top of 24 swim nappies."

She concluded her post by adding: "But we live and learn lol. Anyone debating whether to take their baby on holiday… do it. I promise it’s worth it #love #family".

Many of her followers flocked to comment on the sweet post, with former Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby saying: "It’s the bloody best isn’t it scarlett!"

This Morning's Vanessa Feltz commented: "So glad you had a wonderful time lovely girl," while Gogglebox star Izzy Warner added: "Happy times," with two red heart emojis.

"Aw the pics are all so beautiful!! And you are absolutely glowing @scarlettmoffatt enjoy every minute xx," another follower commented.

Scarlett and Scott announced the arrival of their baby son, full name Jude Xavier Dobinson, in June 2023 after first announcing they were expecting their first child earlier this year.

Scarlett has been open about her experience as a new mum – despite social media criticism – and even treated fans to an adorable series of pictures from the birth.
