Taylor Swift ‘confirms’ Travis Kelce romance as she joins his mum at NFL game
Taylor Swift has seemed to confirm her relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce, after she was spotted supporting him at a game.
Taylor, 33, was pictured sitting in a private box with Travis' mum, Donna, wearing his team's colours, red and white, during the match – which comes after much speculation that the pair were dating.
The 33 year old is a footballer for Kansas City Chiefs, who played against the Chicago Bears at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri yesterday, 24 September.
Though neither have said anything about their speculated romance, the American footballer said that “no one actually knows what’s going on” and that “it’s hilarious” when he was interviewed on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show.
"It’s hilarious how much traction this has actually got. This is like the old school game called telephone, where everybody is just whispering in everybody’s ear. No one actually knows what’s going on."
He explained that he had invited the Shake it Off singer to attend his next game and that “the ball was in her court.”
"I threw the ball in her court and told her, 'I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead'. You might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit. We’ll see what happens in the near future."
Not only was Taylor in attendance at the sporting event, but Travis’ older brother, 35 year old Jason, said on the WIP Morning Show that the rumours are “100% true” but that who his brother dates are “his business.”
"I think things are going great and I think it's 100 percent true. I don't really know a lot about what's happening in Travis's love life. You know, his business is his business and I try to stay out of that world."
Taylor’s apparent new relationship follows her break up with her long-term English beau Joe Alwyn and a whirlwind romance with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy.
She has been seen out recently with her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas’ estranged wife, Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, on a girls' night, as the couple engage in a bitter custody battle for their two children.
It was the second time in a week that the two women had been spotted together out on the town with an insider saying: “They were normal. Completely normal. Everyone was all excited, but they were normal. Sophie seemed to be enjoying the night.”
