Is Travis Scott low-key dishing on the end of his relationship with Kylie Jenner with his new music?!
The 27-year-old rapper released a brand new compilation project called JACKBOYS early Friday morning on his label, Cactus Jack Records. And within the seven-track record — which features artists like Quavo and Offset in addition to Scott’s own rap collective — the new song Gatti is quickly raising eyebrows.
Collaborating on the track in question with fellow MC Pop Smoke, the Houston-born artist delivered an interesting line that has our interest piqued when he says (below):
“Duck away, she wanna lay up and hibernate (Yeah) / I took a chance, it’s a lot to take”
Hmmm… so wait, is it Kylie who wants to lay up and hibernate?! Scott doesn’t mention his baby momma by name, nor does he really ever address any woman (named or unnamed) throughout the rest of the project, so it really hinges on this one delivery.
The 22-year-old makeup maven is a notorious homebody, though, so the “hibernate” line might make some sense in that context… what do y’all think??
You can listen to the whole track here:
For what it’s worth, the makeup mogul still seems to be a huge fan of the success Stormi Webster‘s dad continues to enjoy in the music world.
Late Thursday night, she took to her Instagram Stories to post this supportive screenshot with a swipe-up link to the album itself:
Even as exes, they sure continue to play nice together, don’t they?!
As you’ll recall, these two have long been rumored to be close to reconciliation, though nothing official has happened yet. Kylie has also dealt with relationship rumors surrounding Drake, though, so it seems far from certain Stormi’s parents will link back up. But whatever the case, it’s clear the billionaire and her Astroworld ex care a lot about each other — and especially about their daughter.
For now, it appears co-parenting will continue to be the route forward for them both. Their one-year-old is clearly in good hands, even if her mom and pop don’t quite know where they stand in each other’s lives right now. Just don’t let grandma get too shady about the breakup, OK?! LOLz!!!
What do y’all think about Gatti, Perezcious readers??? Is it a Kylie call-out? Much ado about nothing?! Where do y’all stand after listening to it?? Sound OFF with all your opinions in the comments (below)…
