J-Rod is officially over.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have officially gone their separate ways after four years of dating and two years of engagement. “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects,” the couple said in a joint statement to Today on April 15, 2021. “We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support,” they continued.
Lopez is mother to twins Max and Emme, while Rodriguez is father to daughters Natasha and Ella. The family seemingly blended very well, considering Rodriguez’s kids gushed over “stepsister” Emme’s performance at the Super Bowl in February 2020 in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
The news comes about one month after the couple assured fans they were going strong following reports that their relationship was on the rocks. So, what has happened since then?
More to come…
