For those that crave a cold one straight from the tap, Asahi Breweries, makers of Asahi Super Dry, have now developed the full draft beer experience in can form.
Dubbed the “Asahi Super Dry Nama Jockey Can,” the canned release set to hit Japan come April replicates the aroma, flavor and mouth feel of draft beer. In Japanese, “nama” means “fresh” or “raw,” while “jockey” is used to describe a beer mug or pint glass. The Asahi Super Dry Nama Jockey Can features a special interior coating that results in tinier bubbles and a pop-off top. Coupled together, the new developments replicate the smooth head of draft beer.
