Chopard Unveils New Alpine Eagle Summit Collection
Chopard has introduced new additions to its Alpine Eagle collection, via four new references under what it’s calling the Alpine Eagle Summit collection, which features a blend of ethically sourced gem-laden examples.
The series, featuring 41 mm-diameter timepieces, is designed to act as a testament to Chopard’s enduring commitment to ethical luxury, crafted entirely in 18-carat yellow, white, or rose gold, sourced with the highest ethical standards.
Standout features of the collection include the bezels, adorned with a captivating gradient of gemstones. Each watch, available in four distinct combinations of ethical gold and gems, showcases Chopard’s expertise in gemsetting and stone selection. The yellow gold model is set with pink sapphires, white gold versions with blue and purple sapphires or tsavorites and the rose gold variant with spessartites.
These dials, inspired by the Alpine landscape, are visually captivating. The “Golden Peak” dial in yellow gold pays homage to the Swiss Mont Blanc massif, reflecting its golden shimmer. As for the white gold models, they feature “Zinal Blue” and “Vals Grey” dials, echoing the hues of the Swiss Alps’ glaciers and quartzite stone, respectively. The rose gold watch boasts a “Pink Dawn” dial, reminiscent of the early morning Alpine sun.
From a technical standpoint, each watch houses the Chopard 01.15-C movement, a chronometer-certified marvel ensuring precision and reliability — complemented by a 60-hour power reserve and a stop-seconds function.
Chopard’s dedication to sustainable luxury extends beyond the sourcing of its gold. Instead, the brand, with its own precious metals foundry, ensures full control over its production, reflecting a conscious approach to luxury in harmony with environmental awareness.
The collection’s design, inspired by the St. Moritz watch by Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, features a round case, a crown engraved with a compass rose, a bezel with eight functional indexed screws and an integrated metal bracelet.
At the time of writing, details on price and availability have not yet been shared, however, the new Alpine Eagle Summit collection is said to be a boutique exclusive offering, with more details on the collection available via Chopard’s official site.
