Classic Studio Ghibli Films Set to Return to Theaters for Ghibli Fest 2022

Studio Ghibli has unveiled its lineup for the 2022 Ghibli Fest, which will see classic titles return to North American theaters.

Starting from April to November, fans can head to the cinema to catch Princess Mononoke (25th Anniversary), Ponyo, The Cat Returns (2oth Anniversary), Kiki’s Delivery Service, Only Yesterday, Howl’s Moving Castle and Spirited Away in either English dubs or English subs.

Based on Genzaburo Yoshino’s novel of the same name, the 1937 title follows a young boy from Tokyo who deals with the recent loss of his father and is supposedly Miyazaki’s favorite book from “childhood.”
