Coco Gauff Debuts the Upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance T500 Capsule
Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance have doubled down on their flourishing partnership over the course of this year by introducing new colorways of silhouettes such as the popular 550, 1906, 650 and more. And to keep this strong momentum going, the powerhouse duo has announced its latest collaborative assemblage that’s centered around the New Balance T500. The model originally debuted in 1982 as a performance tennis shoe, and ALD”s team-up will help reintroduce the silhouette to the modern-day sneaker market.
For this announcement, Teddy Santis‘ New York-based streetwear label tapped rising tennis player and New Balance roster member Coco Gauff to tease the forthcoming footwear batch. The campaign shots showcase Gauff paring the collection’s green, red, navy and black colorways. Each pair comes fitted with solid white leather uppers and perforated toe boxes while the titular shades ornament the N logos, interior liners and tongue branding. Midsoles are given an off-white paint job to usher in a vintage-inspired aesthetic. Gauff is fitted with a blend of sportswear and fashion-forward outerwear and suits to complement the kicks.
Look for these to drop via Aimé Leon Dore during the Fall/Winter season.
For other news, the New Balance 990v6 Made in USA has received a “Pale Yellow” color scheme.
