Cozmo Launches New Furniture Designed by Raw Edges
Modular sofa brand Cozmo has unveiled two new products designed in collaboration with London-based studio Raw Edges.
The Cozmo Cosy Armchair and sculptural Cozmo Cutout Nesting Tables join the rest of Cozmo’s customisable offering, which is designed to cater to our ever-changing homes and different spatial needs.
For the tables, Raw Edges founders Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay looked to the collage works of Henri Matisse. Crafted from steel, the designs nest underneath one another and are shaped with one curved leg and one straight. They are available in three colours: Ultramarine, which pays homage to the original work by Matisse, Off-White and Dark Brown.
“Side tables, always ready to be grabbed to hold whatever you need, whether it’s a book, a laptop, or even a cozy dinner on the sofa while watching the telly,” they said. “For Cozmo, we created these nesting sculptural cutout metal surfaces that can be arranged in a multitude of ways, looking beautiful either way.”
The Cosy Armchair is largely based on the existing Cosy sofa. Similarly, it comes with with easily interchangeable jackets for the seat and back covers – offering a number of fabric options, from fleece to bouclé, with contrasting cotton webbing.
The launch of the new products coincided with the unveiling of Cozmo’s new showroom, which is located at the the Coal Drops Yard location, inside Tom Dixon’s Coal Office.
Prices for The Cozmo Cosy Armchair start from £695 (approximately $844 USD) and The Cozmo Cutout Tables from £295 ($358 USD).
