Drama in DC! Rob Reiner, Mia Farrow, Roger Stone, more react House Speaker's ousting

History was made on Tuesday, Oct. 3. Republican Congressman Kevin McCarthy was removed as Speaker of the House of Representatives. The last time someone filed a motion to vacate the Speaker was in 1910. In that instance, Republican Speaker Joseph Cannon survived. Kevin would have no such luck after Florida Rep Matt Gaetz filed a resolution to take the California lawmaker’s gavel away. The vote ended up being 216-210 in favor of ousting Kevin, who is now the shortest serving Speaker since 1876.
