HOKA's Mafate THREE2 Arrives in a “Hot Sauce / Earthenware” Colorway
HOKA has highlighted the “Hot Sauce/Earthenware” colorway for its latest trail-running model, Mafate Three2.
For this silhouette, HOKA looked into its archives for inspiration. Featuring the Mafate Speed 2’s well-cushioned bottom unit, the new shoe weighs about 328 grams and features a 3mm heel-to-toe drop that provides stable and balanced wear. It’s also equipped with a fuss-free quick lace system, compression-molded EVA midsole, and a megragrip outsole from Vibram.
As for aesthetics, the new model borrows its upper design from the original Mafate 3. The upper is made of breathable mesh complete with hotmelt overlays in a tonal color palette. As the Mafate Three2 amalgamates traits from two of HOKA’s archival icons, the resulting shoe embodies both a retro appearance and a modern build that is geared for the terrains.
Many sizes have quickly sold out on the “Hot Sauce/Earthenware” colorway, while the “Limestone / Outer Space” and “Eggnog / Shifting Sand” are also currently available with limited stocks in select sizes. Priced at £170 GBP (approximately $206 USD), the Mafate Three2 can be found on HOKA’s UK website.
