KSUBI Launches New Creative Artist Program ‘Blank Canvas’

KSUBI is extending its reach beyond just streetwear and denim with the launch of its new creative artist program. Entitled ‘Blank Canvas,’ the program is set to provide a platform for emerging artists to showcase their unique stories. A “blank canvas” if you will.

For chapter one, KSUBI partnered with Buffalo-based contemporary artist, Wasabi. The debut offering includes two t-shirts and a hoodie from KSUBI’s 4×4 range. But what elevates the pieces is Wasabi’s signature multicolored style that fuses punk stylings and pop iconography. The artist’s unique style has included a special take on 70s punk culture and an innovative way.

“Ksubi has a long history of engaging with emerging artists,” said KSUBI C.E.O. Craig King. “Blank Canvas is the next step in this evolution, a more formal approach giving the artist the platform to highlight their unique talents whilst getting their designs into the market.”

Take a look at the new initiative in the gallery above. The limited-edition “KSUBI Blank Canvas Presents: Wasabi” collection releases today at KSUBI stores in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami and London alongside the brand’s website.
