London-Based Streetwear Imprint Trapstar Takes Over Milan in Latest Inner-City Pop-up Invasion

London-based streetwear imprint, Trapstar, has taken to the streets of Milan for its latest ’WE OUTSIDE’ inner-city invasion pop-up store.

Arriving squad-deep with the brand’s European-wide extensive family tree, Trapstar has collaborated with Milan-based brand Dropout, to champion the current buzz of streetwear culture in the Italian city. ‘WE OUTSIDE’ is a tour of cultural excellence and a key chain of Trapstar activations along with events and collaborations across a series of cities around the world in the coming months.

This latest European takeover announced an exclusive collaboration with a friend of the brand, and leading Italian rapper, Serra Ebbasta as he celebrated his latest collaborative mixtape, Italiano, with fellow drill artist Russian. The capsule collection comprises of four T-shirts, two hoodies and a cap. While the hoodies take the appearance of the classic Trapstar silhouette and fit, Trapstar’s customary brand positioning across the chest has been replaced with the word ‘Italiano’, while the stand-out tee comes from the football jersey-inspired look in a blue colorway.

Trapstar, along with friends of the brand that include Lancey Foux, Blade Brown and Sera Ebbasta immersed the store, while an expected mob of customers with distinctive branding arrived to turn the space into a Trapstar-only area. Following the invasion of the streets of Milan, the pop-up unveiled grails of Trapstar’s latest capsules, including statement items that stretched across tracksuits, T-shirts, puffer jackets and new special products.

The first inner-city invasion came in the city of London, in collaboration with UK rap stars, K Trap and Blade brown, celebrating the duo’s recently-dropped joint mixtape Joints. Together, the two rappers took to the streets of Soho where they handed out wristbands in exclusively-released Trapstar camo tracksuits, before they took over Dukes Cupboard as their pop-up destination with Nigerian skate artist, Slawn.
