Nissin Transforms Cup Noodle Package Into an Interactive Artwork

After adding extra cat-ear-like notches to reduce plastic waste, Nissin is back with another creative cup noodle design that can be doubled as an interactive art piece.

The cup noodle giant took to Twitter to unveil its artistic take on its beloved U.F.O. Yakisoba instant noodle variety. The lid design of the saucy instant noodles is printed with The Milkmaid by Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer to mimic the process of pouring milk through the drainer (water in this case). The reimagined packaging effectively turns the noodle-making experience into an interactive artwork.

Many users on social media are hoping that Nissin will make the artful U.F.O. Yakisoba packaging available in the near future.
