Taylor Swift and Matt Healy 'writing new music together' amid rumoured romance

Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are said to be ‘writing new music together’.

As if it wasn’t enough the Love Story singer, 33, and the 1975 rocker, 34, are rumoured to be romantically involved, the pair are now apparently going to collaborate for Taylor’s next album.

Rumours there could be something going on between the musical pair began circulating earlier this month after they were spotted ‘cuddling and kissing’ while out together.

The Chocolate hitmaker has supported Taylor at a number of her recent US shows and has even been spotted hanging out with the icon’s dad and her best pal Blake Lively.

Even Blake’s Hollywood husband Ryan Reynolds waded in on the rumours as he teased fans via a very curious Instagram video.

Indeed, Taylor seems on top form at the moment as she makes her way around the world on her Eras Tour.

Just the other day the Shake It Off hitmaker told her adoring Massachusetts crowd how she’s ‘never been this happy’ and that her life finally ‘makes sense’ for the ‘first time’.

Now, in the most recent update, a source told The Sun the pair are ‘head over heels’ for each other, and Matty will reportedly be contributing to Taylor’s next album having been ‘inspired’ while on tour with the country icon.

‘Things are moving fast between Matty and Taylor. They’re totally head over heels for each other,’ the source began.

‘It’s been decided that he will help her pen songs for her next album and he might even provide some vocals if it works for the tracks.

‘Matty has been inspired after attending several shows on her US tour, but they won’t have a lot of time to work together this summer as The 1975 also have their own shows.’

Although they have packed schedules, the source said they were keen to make the collaboration happen.

They also added that Matty thinks he has to ‘earn’ appearing on stage with Taylor, and a full-band collaboration could be the way to do this.

‘Ideally he would like to have a proper collaboration with the whole band involved. That’s the only way Matty will ever appear on stage with her. He feels he has to earn it,’ the source said.

Neither Taylor nor Matty have confirmed or denied the romance rumours, so time will tell…
