UNDEFEATED and Unimatic Unveil Limited Edition Modello Tre U3-ULVN Watch
UNDEFEATED is joining forces yet again with Italian watchmaker Unimatic, this time to produce two limited edition iterations using the Modello Tre chrono-diver as the basis for the collab. While its past collab had an edition of 250, iterations in this release will be slightly more limited.
Encased in a 40mm shell, the Modello Tre chrono-diver stands out with its distinctive design. Each watch boasts an olive NATO band, screw-down chrono pushers and is elegantly finished with UNDEFEATED’s “Five Strike” logo at the 12 o’clock position. As a marker of its exclusivity, each piece features a uniquely numbered case back.
The watch comes in two finishes or iterations, the first is a DLC-coated black version, available in an edition of 99 examples and the second a steel reverse panda design, offered in an edition of 150.
From a technical perspective, the Modello Tre U3-ULVN, handcrafted in Italy, features a water-resistance rating of up to 300 meters. Additionally, its robust 316 stainless steel case, with a DLC black brushed finish, houses a 120-click mono-directional safety bezel — the bezel features a matte black aluminum tachymeter insert with cream trims, complementing the olive drab seatbelt NATO strap.
Both watches feature Super-LumiNova coating for increased legibility and are powered by the Meca-quartz calibre Seiko VK64A movement, known for its tuning fork oscillator and impressive anti-magnetic properties.
Each watch comes with a special Unimatic x UNDEFEATED tough case and a warranty card that includes a unique ID seal. The watches are set to release at 8:00 am PST on Friday, November 17, via UNDEFEATED’s New York and LA Brea Chapter Stores and its official online site. Retail pricing for the watches has yet to be announced at the time of writing.
In related watch news, Unimatic has teamed up with motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield for a limited-edition watch.
