Costa Coffee has scrapped the ‘best drink ever’ from its menu and fans of the beverage are furious.
Customers took to social media to say they can’t get hold of the popular Iced Whipped Latte.
Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one frustrated customer asked Costa why some stores sell the drink and others don’t.
Costa replied revealing it’s been discontinued.
The cold drink is made up of whipped coffee, milk and a choice of either vanilla, chocolate or salted caramel sauce.

‘Hey! This is part of our summer menu,’ a spokesperson said on Twitter.
‘It shouldn’t be served in store anymore as it’s been discontinued.’
Fans have been left furious that they can’t get hold of the drink anymore.
‘Costa knew what they were doing with that iced whipped latte,’ one person said.
While another wrote: ‘Whoever at Costa came up with the iced whipped latte deserves a raise and 10 extra days of annual leave.’
‘The new iced whipped salted caramel latte from Costa is a YES from me,’ said a third.
When the drink was released, the coffee company said: ‘Costa Coffee knows how to make a great cup of coffee.
‘Just because the heat has gone up, coffee lovers shouldn’t miss out this Summer.
The cold drink is made up of whipped coffee, milk and a choice of either vanilla, chocolate or salted caramel sauce. And it went down well with Costa fans on social media when introduced back in May
‘Whether you love your regular Flat White, Caramel Latte or Americano you can choose to have them as an iced version, taking out the heat – but not the great flavour.
‘What’s more, you can personalise your coffee to suit you, whether you want it sweeter with an additional syrup, or opt for a dairy-free milk alternative.’
However the drink is part of Costa’s summer menu which has now been replaced with its Christmas menu.
And for this year’s festive season, Costa has released some new food and drink options.
One of which is a sticky toffee pudding latte – which features a sticky toffee flavoured sauce, is topped with a Light Whip, drizzled with more sauce, and finished with a sprinkling of bronze shimmery dusting.
