A former teacher who used to be told to “cover up” her curves got her revenge by raking in $1million (around £720,000) on OnlyFans.
Romi Chase, from Poland, became a millionaire by selling racy snaps on the subscription site in just 16 months.
She taught English in her home country before moving to the US in search of opportunity.
But, the 28-year-old was unable to get a teaching post and so fell into glamour and boudoir modelling when her work permit was granted in 2019.
And, it was the confidence boost she’d always needed after being told to hide her curvy figure for most of her life.
Romi explained: “I’ve always been really creative and a sexual person."
She continued: “I couldn’t embrace it back home because the beauty standards there are strict – blonde, blue eyes, long legs and no hips or you’re not very attractive.
“And being a plus size girl in Poland and embracing your sexuality is like a sin, you’re not supposed to.
“It’s like: ‘you’re fat, so cover up’.
“Having big boobs and a small waist is the desired look here, and I got so much attention.
“I embraced that attention and dressed cute, and then felt more comfortable showing it off online.”
Romi felt “empowered” by her new career and said she’d received “hundreds” of offers for photo and video shoots after settling in Florida and in September 2019.
She decided to invest in lighting and building a brand for herself.
Romi said: “It's a full-time job and I learned you have to treat it as such in order to become successful.
“On average, I work 12 hours a day and since I’m in control of everything I keep my schedule flexible, so I can adjust to whatever is working that day."
She continued: “A lot of women think they are attractive or funny and can hop online and men will throw money at them, but it doesn’t work that way at all.
“I took marketing myself seriously and knew that less is more in this industry.
“I show skin but I market it in a teasing way so people want to spend money – exclusivity is very important.”
Romi claims people sometimes assume she is un-educated, but she actually has a master’s degree – which she says people find “shocking”.
As for the content she makes, it varies by client.
Romi said: “One fan had a first aid kit fetish, which caught me off guard because I’d never heard of it
“He wanted me to act like I had sprained my ankles and wrists and bandage them, and act like I was injured.
“I would describe the way it felt to him, the texture of the bandages and the wound – I think his fetish was texture-based.
“It was a unique and bizarre experience but he really enjoyed it.”
She’s also been offered tens of thousands of dollars to shave her head, but refuses to do so.

Romi added: “I’m really responsible with my finances because you never know when your account could get randomly shut down.
“I have a nice house, nice car and some nice clothes but I don’t blow it all – I save a lot and invest my money.
“I have probably spent $50,000 (around 336,000) on camera equipment, from lenses and cameras to lighting and gadgets, and created a studio in my home so I don’t have to rent anywhere.
“Sometimes I wake up and think it’s so great that I’m in a nice house in a nice neighbourhood in Miami where everyone wants to be.
“I knew I wanted to be successful when I got into this, but I had no idea what to expect or how fast it would happen.
“It’s crazy to know I’m here, I’m happy and making money."
