Michelle Jollands left online users in awe as she showcased her dreamy Christmas tree adorned with oversized gummy bears and a massive assortment of Love Hearts candies.

However, there is a catch, as the delicious-looking treats on Michelle’s Christmas tree are not edible.

Michelle ingeniously crafted all the decorations, which feature classic staples such as Fruit Salad, using cardboard, foam clay, and polystyrene.

The crafty mum, who is known for her extravagant holiday projects, has outdone herself this year with a 7ft glitter-covered tree that boasts a bubblegum machine as its “star on top.”

The tree’s decorations include sweet wrappers, sparkling gummy bears, oversized liquorice all-sorts, and large chocolate M&Ms.

Other eye-catching elements include jelly beans, miniature bubblegum machines, giant Love Hearts, and an enormous Hubba Bubba “cake.”

Michelle shared the results of her hard work in the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

In her post, Michelle explained how the project had taken only her 90 minutes to put together but she spent four hours cleaning up after making the decorations.

“This is my very colourful tree!” she wrote excitedly. “The large and small gummy bears are polystyrene which I painted with acrylic paint.

“And 90% of the decorations are cardboard and foam clay mixed with acrylic paints.”

Michelle concluded: “The total cost for all decorations was around £30 and lots of crafting fun.”

Michelle expressed her desire to inspire others to “craft things” for their own Christmas trees.

Commenting under her post, members of the group were swift to recognise her impressive crafting skills and encouraged her to share more of her creations on social media.

“You’ll go viral on TikTok for this tree,” one user typed.

“This is an amazing tree,” another added. “I’ve never seen anything quite like it.”
