Valentine’s Day is over, Pancake Day is upon us and that means that Easter Sunday is fast approaching.
You know what that means…
It’s Creme Egg season.
For fans of the sweet treat, which features a yellow and white fondant centre surrounded by milk chocolate, it’s the best time of the year.
Even better, this year the fun doesn’t stop with the traditional Creme Egg as brands compete to bring you inspired creations based on the snack.
And Iceland has really taken the (cheese) cake with their offering.

Aldi launches gin and Prosecco Easter eggs – and they look amazing
The frozen food supermarket has just launched their Luxury Belgian Chocolate Easter Egg Cheesecake.
The tasty dessert has a classic biscuit base, vanilla filling and a white and yellow sauce.
Plus, it’s completed with milk chocolate strands laid delicately around the circumference of the cake.
We are drooling…
The best part, though, is the price.
At just £3 for the entire cheesecake this is a budget-friendly Easter pud which we’re dying to get our hands on.
Iceland has said that the sweet cake is the “ultimate dessert for families this Easter” and we have to enthusiastically agree!
The pudding serves six people making it perfect for sharing and it’s frozen – so you don’t have to worry about the best before date.
The only bad thing about the dessert?
It’s limited edition, and when it’s gone… it’s gone.
Cadbury responds to angry customers calling Easter tins 'absolutely disgusting'
So, if you want to get your hands on one (or four) use Iceland’s handy Store Locator to find your nearest branch.
Don’t worry if you miss it though as Cadbury are releasing their Creme Egg “Layers of Joy Trifle” for the second year running.
We’re going to need to take up running by the time we’re done scoffing this lot…
