Max Parker and Kris Mochrie have taken the next step in their relationship and moved in together.

The Emmerdale stars have relocated to a gorgeous Manchester penthouse which they are in the process of tailoring to their tastes.

The couple reportedly pay £8000 a month to live in the luxury apartment that they are currently settling into after snapping it up earlier this month.

Max showed off the new pad on Instagram where he gave fans a guided tour of the fashionable interior.

The 29 year old gave followers a glimpse of his new home, sharing a photo of the hallway table featuring a Jo Malone candle and Bonsai tree.

Max joked: “Just a subtle hallway table,” before confirming the big move, as he posted: ‘#newhome.’

The new apartment comes complete with scenic views of Manchester which Max was also keen to share on his social media channels.

His boyfriend Kris reposted the photos to his own page, excited to be living with his partner of almost a year.

Their home is part of a skyscraper residence building in Manchester that comes with a roof garden, concierge, private pool, gym and yoga studio.

A source told The Sun: “As first homes go, this is a doozy. Max and Kris are proud and excited to start the next phase of their relationship in style.”

“Moving to Manchester works well for them as it’s a central point between Leeds, where Max films Emmerdale, and London, where Kris does a lot of consultancy work.”

They added: “Plus, it’s close to Kris’ native Liverpool. It’s a long way from the rural village life of Emmerdale, but they’ve worked hard for what they’ve got.”

Kris and Max have been dating since July after meeting on the set of Emmerdale where they play brothers.

A source told The Sun: "They met on Kris' last day filming and just hit it off.

"They were cast as brothers and are really alike and have been joking that casting did a great job.”

However, the characters only overlapped by one day and never shared the screen, but are expected to share a storyline this summer.
